The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, and supporting overall hotel performance through effective leadership and operational excellence.

Pay: CA$42,000.00 – CA$46,000.00 per year

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate the Front Desk team to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage guest inquiries, concerns, and service recovery in a professional manner
  • Support recruitment, scheduling, performance management, and staff development
  • Monitor and support revenue management practices, including room inventory and rate strategies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with basic accounting procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hotel front desk operations, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong human resource and team leadership skills
  • Proven ability to coach and develop employees
  • Solid understanding of revenue management principles
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with hotel management systems
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required
